July 30 – August 1 | KidsCON
Kids CON is a high-energy and interactive children’s conference that features fun audience games, a powerful time of worship and so much more! Each night, children will learn a key main point that will be brought to life through hilarious characters, skits and reinforced with a Bible verse.
The conference is FREE! and will be held at the West Monroe campus of Christ Church and is for children ages 4-12 years old.
August 4 | Growth Track, Class 101
Time: During last service
Class 101 is all about who we are as a church and why we exist. Learn our beliefs, our purpose, and how you can transition from being an attendee to a member of our family.
August 11 | Growth Track, Class 201
Time: During last service
Class 201 will discuss how we must grow smaller as we grow larger. We’ll teach you why Small Groups are an essential component in keeping us connecting day in and day out, not just on Sundays.
August 11 | Night of Worship
Time: 5:30p
Make sure to join us Sunday, Aug 11 at 5:30p for a night of worship and prayer. We’ll press in on this night as God prepares us for the week ahead with the Alive 2019 following on Aug 13-15.
August 13-15 | Alive 2019
Time: 6:45p each night
Join with us for Alive Revival! 3 nights of powerful worship and wonderful guest speakers. Let’s all worship our Heavenly father with all we have and come expecting a powerful word during this exciting time!

August 18 | Water Baptism
Water Baptism signifies death to an old way of life and the start of a brand new one. If you’ve never been water baptized before and would like to be, our next opportunity is Sunday, August 18.
When you register, please specify your shirt size and which service/campus you’ll be attending.

About being a leader:
If you love people and want to be a part of helping them find a place to connect, you can lead a small group! Leading a group is a simple as choosing a topic or activity that you are interested in, talented in, or passionate about and then sharing it with others.So, whether you’re looking to connect with other married couples, singles, men, or women, or you have a great idea for a Bible study, lunch group, or recreation activity – you can turn it into a group!
Opportunity for registration of new groups will open once the current semester ends.

September 21 | Men’s Golf Tournament
Christ Church is hosting its annual men’s golf tournament on Saturday, September 21 at Black Bayou. This will be a 4-man scramble and is open to men of any age or skill level. The cost to enter will be $50.

October 18-20 | 2:1 Marriage Retreat

The 2:1 Marriage Retreat is a Christ-centered, three-day experience focusing on strengthening the bonds of your marriage. The weekend will be in Hot Springs, AR – filled with engaging worship, encouragement, and laughter as we dig deep into our relationships and hear from some real couples and how God helped them overcome trials in their marriages to become stronger than ever.
Whether you’ve been married for fifty years or are a newly-wed, whether your marriage is in crisis or just looking for a tune-up, this weekend is for you! Don’t miss this opportunity to invest in your marriage and watch God to move you and your spouse into a new season of oneness!
The cost of the retreat is $425 per couple. Registration fees will cover all expenses, including your room and meals, except for your Saturday evening date night and any additional activities you and your spouse may want to take part in on Sunday afternoon before returning home.
You can reserve your spot by paying the full amount or the $200 deposit. (The full amount must be paid by August 31. If not paid in full at this time, the spot will be released to the next couple waiting.)
